IMITATED LEAVES, 2026, plaster, cotton and thread, 50 x 40 cm

In this project, I recreate leaves using plaster and thread, carefully connecting them in a search for balance between imitation and organic life. By reproducing natural forms through fragile, handmade materials, the work reflects on humanity’s desire to preserve, control, and reconnect with nature.

The repetitive process of casting and stitching the leaves together becomes an act of reconstruction, an attempt to hold onto something living while acknowledging its vulnerability. Suspended between the artificial and the natural, the work invites reflection on the fragile relationship between humans and ecosystems.
